Israel-based game developer Playtika (NASDAQ:PLTK) has a definitive deal to acquire Israel-based mobile gaming studio Innplay Labs.
Playtika will pay upfront consideration of $80M, with the deal structured for maximum consideration of $300M.
The transaction follows closely on Playtika’s deal to acquire the Youda Games card-game portfolio from Azerion, including Governor of Poker 3, entered on Aug. 1.
The Innplay acquisition “represents another strategic expansion of our portfolio with a promising and innovative growth franchise in the Luck Battle genre, and presents another opportunity for us to further utilize our expertise in leveraging LiveOps and proprietary technology to drive sustained, long-term growth,” Playtika CEO Robert Antokol said.
“As a fellow Israeli-based company recognized for innovation, Innplay’s talented team shares our culture of focus, speed and agility,” he said. “We are excited to embark on this journey together and to rebrand Animals & Coins alongside Innplay.”
